Happy Easter

Easter always makes me think of my Dad more than usual, he was the 'Easter Bunny' for my whole family, he would wake up early (before the real Easter Bunny) and tip toe around to all our houses and leave us a trail of eggs along with a special egg hand picked, just for us, the last Easter we had with him he left Ethan a bunny on a motorbike, Lily got a special bunny he hunted down with no preservatives so as not to upset her eczema and for me, a chocolate wombat as a long running joke and an egg of the highest quality he could find knowing what a chocolate snob I am, I'm sure he chose it out of love not to rib me! then a gain he was a bit of a joker :)

My Dad wasn't into Christmas much but Easter was his day and this is our second Easter without him. So enjoy your family and I wish you all a happy and most importantly, safe Easter.

I don't know about you but I love my coffee! I love sitting down with a freshly brewed cup, I am lucky enough to have a great machine at home and there is nothing nicer than the aroma of coffee through the house. 
I am often in a rush in the morning, as most mums can relate and I often sacrifice the coffee for the sake of being at school on time.
Well no longer! Enviro Cups are here! gorgeous ceramic cups with groovy silicone lid and grip, they come in some very stylish patterns.
So now I can take my coffee with me.

Winter Blues?

I am loving the colours coming through for our Winter season, it's so nice to see to colour rather than just black and grey, mind you black and grey are still big for the basics but a statement article in gorgeous sapphire blue, purple, yellow or green for example seems to be a growing trend this season. 
Judy and Deb are off to Melbourne this week and they are meeting with two new fashion houses, so we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of some gorgeous new items!
I just wanted to share with an image of one of my favourite handbags, this one we have in the colour shown and also in green! what better way to add that splash of style to wardrobe than a new bag!
We only stock one, maybe two of each style so it pays to get in quick!

BIG NEWS!!

I would like to announce that due to the ongoing and overwhelming support from our customers Pooki's is expanding!
We will be opening "Pooki's Boutique"  women's clothing, jewellery, bags and some shoes at 46 Macquarie Street, currently Lily White. This will be a one stop wardrobe stop ladies! 
We are aiming for July to open the new store but we will keep you updated! While it is sad to see the closure of Lily White, we wish them all the very best for their future endeavours.


Pooki's Home & Gift will stay in our current location at shop 2, 83 Macquarie Street, where we will be expanding on our ranges there and introducing some new home, kitchen, kids and gift lines.


When I opened Pooki's 18 months ago I couldn't have imagined the response from our town and out of customers, we are so very happy and thankful to everyone who has welcomed us with open arms, we truly appreciate your custom and hope that with your support we can continue to offer our Pooki's stores to our town.


We are all so very excited and can't thank our customers for their support, it is due to you that we are able to offer these two great store.

Autumn/ Winter

While black, grey and red don't ever seem to be off the 'in fashion' colour pallet, this season out of Fashion Week we are seeing shades of nude and caramels, pastels as well as splashes of bold pink, orange, green with geometric shapes and abstract animal prints and  military design also proving popular. The must haves for this season seem to be the ever popular trench, sleeveless vests and cute knits. Don't forget to mix it up with accessories too, belts, scarves and felt hats are also another popular item.
